Overview - High Pressure Reservoir (Rail)

Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-
- A Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- with an undamaged biting edge and thread can be reused one time.
- 100 Nm
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
High Pressure Line
- between the high pressure reservoir and the fuel injectors
- If no component (fuel injector or high pressure reservoir) are replaced, the high pressure lines can be reused when all notes for the installation of the high pressure lines are followed. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Attach the balance weight. Refer to Figure.
- 28 Nm
High Pressure Reservoir (Rail)
- Removing and Installing. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE RESERVOIR (RAIL), REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 20 Nm
O-Ring
- Replace after removing
Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-
- When reusing, pay attention to damage of the biting edge and threads of the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-. Replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve - N276- if damaged.
- Replace the O-ring after removing
- Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester Refer to Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-, CHECKING .
- Tighten in 3 stages:
- 1. Step: 60 Nm
- 2. Step: turn back 90°
- 3. Step: 85 Nm
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- After replacing components, perform the necessary adaptations using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to PERFORM ADAPTATIONS AFTER COMPONENT REPLACEMENT .

- 8 Nm
High Pressure Line
- Between the high pressure pump and the high pressure reservoir
- If no component (fuel injector or high pressure reservoir) are replaced, the high pressure lines can be reused when all notes for the installation of the high pressure lines are followed. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- 28 Nm
