Charge Air Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Pay attention to the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the radiator. Refer to RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air guide hose.

-- Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the : VAS6122 .

-- Unlock the catch in direction of -arrow- and remove the cover -1- toward the front.

-- Unclip the left and right air duct -2- downward in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Open the left and right retainers in direction of -arrow A-, and disengage the condenser -3- from the charge air cooler -1-.

-- Secure the condenser to the lock carrier.

-- Remove the charge air cooler.

-- Remove the charge air cooler downward.
