Engine And Transmission, Separating: Procedure

- Engine/transmission assembly removed and mounted on :T10497 .
-- Removing starter. Refer to STARTER .
-- Remove the nut -arrows-, and remove the front bracket from the transmission fluid pan.
-- Remove bolts -1 and 2- and the bevel box bracket.
-- Disconnect the coolant hoses on the transmission fluid cooler with :3094 .
-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows-, remove the coolant hoses from the transmission fluid cooler.
-- Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .
-- Attach the :2024A hooks to the transmission lifting eyes and secure it with the securing pin -arrow-.
-- Hook the :VAS6100 with the :10-222A/20 on the :2024A/1 .
-- Remove engine to transmission connecting bolts -1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10-.
-- Remove the transmission from the engine.
