Bevel Box, Installing: Procedure

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following: 

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging sealing ring between transmission and bevel box.

  • Place bevel box on transmission together with right flange shaft while turning shaft.

-- Tighten bevel box on transmission.

-- Install the driveshaft. Refer to appropriate service information. .

-- Check the gear oil level. Refer to GEAR OIL, CHECKING LEVEL .
