Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Strainer, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Mount the O-ring -2- on the ATF filter -1-.

-- Clean both magnets -arrows-. Make sure the magnets completely contact the depressions in the ATF filter.

-- Mount the ATF filter on the Mechatronic.

• The collar -1- on the ATF filter must be installed all the way into the opening -2- in the Mechatronic.
• The mount -4- on the back must fit into the bolt -3- on the Mechatronic.

-- Install the ATF pan. Refer to OIL PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with ATF. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF), DRAINING AND FILLING .
