Overview - Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side, Version 1

1. Vibration Damper
   • With the ribbed belt pulley
   • Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. O-ring
   • Not a replacement part; supplied with the bolt
3. Bolt
   • 150 Nm + 90°
   • Always replace after removing.
   • Coat the O-ring with engine oil
4. Ribbed Belt
   • Check for wear
   • Do not kink
   • Ribbed belt routing. Refer to  13.
   • Before removing, mark the running direction using chalk or a felt-tip pen. Reversing the running direction on a used belt can destroy it
   • When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the belt pulleys
   • Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
5. Ribbed Belt Tensioner
   • To release the tension on the ribbed belt, pivot using an open end wrench.
   • Secure using the Locking Pin:T10060A 
   • Tensioning roller can be replaced separately. Refer to  4.
   • Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
6. Sub-Assembly Bracket
   • With oil filter and engine oil cooler
   • Removing and installing the sub-assembly bracket. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Removing and installing the engine oil cooler. Refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
7. Bolt
   • 10 Nm
8. Generator
   • Removing and installing. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
9. Bolt
   • Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
10. Bolt
    • Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 3.
11. A/C Compressor
    • Do not remove or disconnect the refrigerant lines
    • Removing and installing. Refer to A/C Compressor, Removing And Installing .
12. Bolt
    • Tightening specification. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION .
13. Alignment Sleeve
    • For the A/C compressor

3. Generator
4. A/C Compressor

1 -Bolt

• 60 Nm

2 -Tensioning Roller

• Can be replaced separately

3 -Support

4 -Sub-Assembly Bracket

5 -Centering Bracket

6 -Bolt

• Tightening specification, refer to -item  7- Bolt (Fig 1).

• Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.

-- Mount the sub-assembly bracket and then install the bolts -4- first.

-- Tighten the bolts in the steps shown in the sequence:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1 through 5-	Install by hand all the way
2.	-1 through 5-	20 Nm
3.	-1 through 5-	90° additional turn
