All Wheel Drive Clutch Pump -V181-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, GENERATION V: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Replace the O-rings -1 and 2-.

-- Lightly coat the O-rings -1 and 2- with High Performance All Wheel Drive Clutch Oil.

-- Press the All Wheel Drive Clutch Pump -V181- -2- until stop in the all wheel drive clutch housing. Make sure the wiring harness -3- is routed correctly.

-- Tighten the bolts -1-.

-- Install the bolt -arrow- on the front final drive mounting bracket again by hand.

-- Connect the connector -arrow- for the All Wheel Drive Clutch Pump -V181- to the All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-.

-- Secure rear final drive to subframe with a new bolt -arrow-.

-- Add High Performance All Wheel Drive Clutch Oil and check the oil level in the all wheel drive clutch. Refer to HIGH-PERFORMANCE ALL WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH OIL, FILLING .

• If a new pump is installed, a basic setting must be performed.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester with the vehicle and start the Diagnostic  mode.

• Select vehicle test 
• AWD 
• 01 OBD-capable system 
• 22 All Wheel Drive Control Module J492 
• 22 AWD electronics, functions 
• 22 Basic setting 

-- Follow the instructions in the display.
