Installation [08/2013 - ]

INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

Connect the 2 airbag connectors of the No. 2 instrument panel wire to the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly.

NOTE:

When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
Be sure to only connect the connectors to each corresponding color.

Push in the 2 airbag connector locks to install the 2 airbag connectors to the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly.
Engage the clamp.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
1. Engage the 3 hooks.
2. Push in the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly to engage the 3 hooks.
3. Install the 2 screws to install the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly.
4. Engage the 2 clamps.
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 1
CONNECT NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE
1. Check that the power switch is off.
2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
  WARNING:
  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
3. Connect the connector.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 3
PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
