Right Cylinder Head

-- Remove the front coolant pipe. Refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen hose clamp -1- and lift the clamp -2- to remove the coolant hoses.

NOTE:

Ignore the -arrows-.

-- Remove the union nut -right arrow- and then remove the high pressure line -1-.

-- Remove the banjo bolt -arrow-.

-- Remove the guide pins for the glide track -1- and for the tensioning rail -2-.

-- Loosen the cylinder head bolts in the sequence -1 to 8-.

-- Remove the bolts and the cylinder head carefully.

CAUTION:

Danger of damaging the glow plugs when removing the cylinder head.

Do not lay the removed cylinder head on the sealing surface with the glow plugs installed otherwise the glow plugs will protrude slightly past the sealing surface
