Cylinder Head Cover Right, Installing And Removing, Vehicles With Two Turbochargers: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the fuel injectors on the right side. Refer to FUEL INJECTORS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the fuel rail on the right side. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE RESERVOIR (RAIL), REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -3- from the Camshaft Position Sensor -G40- -2- and free up the wiring harness from the cylinder head cover with the Pry Lever:80-200 .

Ignore -item 1-.

-- Press the release buttons and remove the crankcase ventilation hose -1-.

CAUTION:

Depending on the vehicle equipment level and market-specific crankcase ventilation hose may be used, which cannot be removed from the cylinder head cover without being destroyed. For these version the crankcase ventilation hose can only be separated at the air guide hose connection.

-- Press the release buttons and remove the crankcase ventilation hose -1-.

-- Free up the vacuum lines.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the support from the turbocharger.

-- Press the release buttons and remove the crankcase ventilation hose -arrow-.

-- Loosen the bolts in sequence -7 to 1-.

-- Remove the bolts and the cylinder head cover.
