Charge Air Cooler, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With A Turbocharger: Removing

NOTE:

Follow all the rules of cleanliness..

-- Remove the bumper cover end plate. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER .

-- Remove the left and right air intake grille. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.

Disconnect the connectors before working near the fan shroud.

-- Unclip the air guides -1 and 2-.

-- Remove the air guide hose from the charge air cooler by loosening the hose clamp -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the air guide hose from the charge air cooler by loosening the hose clamp -1-.

-- Push the lock downward in direction of -arrow A- and move the charge air cooler upward slightly in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Disengage the charge air cooler upward and remove it.
