Pinpoint Test L : DTC U1000:00 - BCM

L1 REVIEW THE DTCs

Review the DTCs from the BCM self-test.

Are any DTCs present besides U1000:00 or U3000:49?

Yes	DIAGNOSE all other BCM DTCs first. REFER to DTC Chart: Body Control Module (BCM) .
No	GO to L2.

L2 REPEAT THE BCM SELF-TEST

Ignition ON.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the DTCs and repeat the BCM self-test.

Is DTC U3000:49 present?

Yes	BCM Hardware Testing .
No	The system is operating correctly at this time. The circuit short has been repaired.
