Security Indicator Light Does not Blink [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.SMART ACCESS

The security indicator light operates normally.

- CHECK SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT OPERATION
- When the immobiliser is set, check that the security indicator light blinks.*1

The security indicator light blinks normally.
- When the theft deterrent system is in the arming preparation state, check that the security indicator light illuminates. Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [08/2013 - ]

- When the immobiliser is set, check that the security indicator light blinks.*1
- CHECK AND REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT - SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the H57 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the H97 security indicator light (multi-media module receiver assembly) connector*1.
- Disconnect the H89 security indicator light (radio receiver assembly) connector*2.
- Disconnect the H42 security indicator light (radio receiver assembly) connector*3.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
