DTC B2784: Antenna Coil Open / Short [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) - POWER SWITCH)
- Disconnect the H57 and H58 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connectors.
- Disconnect the H44 power switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H58-13 (CODE) - H44-8 (CODE) Always Below 1 Ω H58-3 (TXCT) - H44-7 (TXCT) Always Below 1 Ω H58-9 (VC5) - H44-10 (VC5) Always Below 1 Ω H57-6 (AGND) - H44-6 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω H44-8 (CODE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher H44-7 (TXCT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher H44-10 (VC5) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher H44-6 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE POWER SWITCH
- Temporarily replace the power switch with a new or known good one. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CLEAR DTC
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ]

Before checking for DTCs, perform the "DTC Output Confirmation Operation" procedure.
