DTC U0235: Lost Communication with Cruise Control Front Distance Range Sensor [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

RECONFIRM DTC OUTPUT

Reconfirm DTCs.

HINT:

If DTC U1002 is output from Pre-Collision 2 of the driving support ECU assembly, this indicates a sub bus 13 malfunction. Troubleshoot for DTC U1002 and check for malfunctions in sub bus 13.

CHECK OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY MAIN LINE)

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

Disconnect the A55 millimeter wave radar sensor assembly connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN LINE OR CONNECTOR (MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY)

OK: Go to next step

CHECK MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT
1. Check the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly power source circuit. Refer to Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor Power Source Circuit [08/2013 - ] .
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)

OK → See step 5
GO TO DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTC. Refer to DTC U1002: Lost Communication with Gateway Module (Sensor Bus) [08/2013 - ]
