DTC B2624: Vehicles Speed Malfunction [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
- Check for DTCs. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2013 - ]

- Check for DTCs. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2013 - ]

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FREEZE SPEED INFO)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Check the vehicle speed signal on the Techstream.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Tilt & Telescopic / Data List.TILT & TELESCOPIC

Result Proceed to Values indicated on the Techstream are normal. A Values indicated on the Techstream are abnormal. B HINT:
A vehicle speed of 3 km/h (2 mph) or more may be displayed on the Techstream immediately after the vehicle comes to a sudden stop. This is caused by a delay in vehicle signal received via CAN communication and is not a malfunction.

- REPLACE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]
