Door Mirror Foot Light Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Check the vehicle condition.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
5. Check that the door mirror foot lights operate.

   Door mirror foot lights illuminate.

1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly that does not illuminate. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .

2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 2 (MLP) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 12 (-).
3. Check that the outer mirror foot light comes on.

1. Disconnect the H9 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Disconnect the M6 outer rear view mirror assembly LH or L7 outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   FOR LH SIDE:
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M6-2 (MLP) - H9-4 (MILE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   H9-4 (MILE) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   FOR RH SIDE:

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Connect the Techstream on the DLC3.

4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Mirror L or Mirror R / Active Test.
5. Check that the door mirror foot lights operate.
