DTC P321E-318: All HV Gate Blocking Range/Performance [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR). Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
NG → CONNECT SECURELY

OK: Go to next step
CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR). Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
NG → CONNECT SECURELY

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY)

WARNING:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the service information because this may cause a malfunction.
Disconnect the A14 inverter with converter assembly connector.
Disconnect the A33 power management control ECU connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
A33-31 (HSDN) or A14-40 (HSDN) - Body ground and other terminals	Power switch off	10 kΩ or higher
A33-31 (HSDN) - A14-40 (HSDN)	Power switch off	Below 1 Ω

Reconnect the A33 power management control ECU connector.
Reconnect the A14 inverter with converter assembly connector.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

CHECK INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

WARNING:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the service information because this may cause a malfunction.
Disconnect the A14 inverter with converter assembly connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
A14-40 (HSDN) - A14-10 (GND1)	Power switch off	2.65 to 3.55 kΩ

Reconnect the A14 inverter with converter assembly connector.
