DTC P3107-213: Lost Communication with Airbag System Control Module [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / SRS Airbag / Trouble Codes.
4. Check for DTCs.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Airbag system DTCs are not output.	A
   Airbag system DTCs are output.	B

5. Turn the power switch off.

B → See step   10 

A: Go to next step 

1. Connect an oscilloscope between the airbag sensor assembly terminals specified in the table below.
2. Turn the power switch on (READY).
3. Measure the waveform.

1. Disconnect the H36 airbag sensor assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   H36-14 (GSW2) - H36-25 (E1)	Power switch off	10 kΩ or higher

3. Reconnect the H36 airbag sensor assembly connector.

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the H1 power management control ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the H36 airbag sensor assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

4. Reconnect the H36 airbag sensor assembly connector.
