RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM See step 1
REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]
REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]
CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE
1. Remove the connector cover assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 4 .
2. Check the terminal voltage. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 5 .
3. Install the connector cover assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 6 .
DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the compressor with motor assembly.

2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
  NOTE:
  Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE
1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant suction hose from the compressor with motor assembly.

2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant suction hose.
  NOTE:
  Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
REMOVE COMPRESSOR WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
1. Using a screwdriver, slide the green-colored lock of the connector <A> in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.

  WARNING:
  Make sure to wear insulating gloves.
  
  NOTE:
  Insulate the removed terminals and connector with insulating tape.
2. Disconnect the connector <B>.
3. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts and compressor with motor assembly.

4. Using an E8 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 stud bolts.
