Upper Transverse Link, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Before starting the procedure, measure the distance from the center of the wheel to the lower edge of the wheel housing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .

-- Remove the wheel. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .

-- AWD vehicles: disengage the wire -1- from the bracket -2- and free it up.

-- Remove the nut -6- and the washer -5-.

-- Remove the bolt -3- and washer -4-.

-- Mark the position of eccentric bolt -3- to the subframe using, for example, a felt-tip marker.

-- Remove the nut -2- using : T10179  and remove the eccentric bolt -3-.

-- Remove upper transverse link -1-.
