-- To prevent the electronic steering column lock from locking, disconnect the battery ground cable when the ignition is turned on. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- Remove the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Release the catch in direction of -arrow- and remove the Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module -J764- -1-.
