- Press Piece - Multiple Use: VW412
- Bearing Installer - Ball Joint/Bushing/Bearing - Sleeve: VW459/2 from the Bearing Installer - Ball Joint/Bushing/Bearing: VW459
- Bearing Installer - Wheel Bearing: 3345
- Bearing Installer - Multiple Use: 3348
- Grease: G 052 150 A2 . Refer to the Parts Information.
Bonded Rubber Bushing, Pressing Out
- Control arm is removed. Refer to LOWER CONTROL ARM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Press out the bonded rubber bushings as shown.

Bonded Rubber Bushing, Pressing On
-- Note the installation position of the bonded rubber bushing. Refer to Figure.
-- Install the bonded rubber bushing as shown.

- : VW459/2 , the inner offset in the sleeve -arrow- points downward
- Control arm

NOTE:
Install the bonded rubber bushing far enough until the : 3345 contacts the control arm.

-- Evenly grease the "kidneys" -arrows- of the bonded rubber bushing from above 0.1 g Grease : G 052 150 A2 using a paint brush.
NOTE:
Greasing the bonded rubber bushing prevents noise generation in the run-in phase.

-- Install the control arm. Refer to LOWER CONTROL ARM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
