Tread depth difference on models with horizontally installed engine, such as A3, TT, Q3, A1...

Here the average difference between the front and rear axle must not be greater than 3 mm.

Average at front axle 2.0 mm

Average at rear axle 4 mm

Difference of front axle to rear axle 2 mm

Within the permissible tolerance of 3 mm
