Center Console Trim Molding, Removing And Installing: Removing

Vehicles with Manual Transmission:

-- Carefully pry up the shift lever boot using the : 3409 from the center console in direction of -arrows- and fold up.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the trim molding.

The retainers can be easily damaged. Proceed very carefully when removing and Installing.

-- Carefully disengage the decorative trim -1- from the catches with the : VAS6416 and remove.

NOTE:

The trim molding and Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit -Y26- are a shared component.

-- Remove the Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit -Y26-. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER TRANSMISSION RANGE POSITION DISPLAY UNIT -Y26-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
