EVAP Canister, Removing And Installing, Vehicles Without Tank Leak Diagnosis: Removing
-- Observe the safety instructions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
-- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
-- Remove the right rear wheel housing liner. Refer to REAR WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Vehicles through MY 2018:
-- Disconnect the bleeder line -1 and 2- on the EVAP canister. Disconnect the connector couplings. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
-- Unclip the breather line from bracket -arrows-.
-- Remove the screw -1-.
-- Push the tabs -3- with a screwdriver and remove the EVAP canister -2- downward out of the retainers -arrow-.
Vehicles from MY 2019:
-- Disconnect the breather lines -3 and 4- on the EVAP canister. Disconnect the connector couplings. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
-- If necessary, unclip the breather line on the EVAP canister.
-- Remove the screw -1-.
-- Pull the EVAP canister -2- downward from the hook -arrow- and remove it.
