EVAP CANISTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor - G400- / Fuel Tank Leak Detection Module - GX36-: Removing
-- Observe the safety instructions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
-- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
-- Remove the right rear wheel housing liner. Refer to REAR WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Vehicles with Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor -G400-
-- Disconnect the connector -4- by unlocking the connector safety catch.
-- Remove the screw -1-.
-- Remove the EVAP canister -2- downward out of the mount -3-.
-- Disconnect the breather lines -5, 6- on the EVAP canister. Disconnect the connector couplings. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
Vehicles with Fuel Tank Leak Detection Module - GX36-
-- Remove the bleeder line -2-. Disconnect the connector couplings. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
-- Disconnect the bleeder lines -3- on the EVAP canister. Disconnect the connector couplings. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
-- Disconnect the connector -4- by unlocking the connector safety catch.
-- Remove the screw -1-.
-- Push the tabs -arrow- with a screwdriver and remove the EVAP canister -5- downward out of the retainers.
