Multimedia System Control Head -E380-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing
The four spring tabs secure the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- in the center console. The spring tabs are positioned very securely.
The center console insert must be removed first.
The surfaces can get scratched very easily. Carefully mask all surfaces and sections!
-- Remove the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Unlock and disconnect the connectors on the back.
-- Push the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- -1- out of the center console insert -2- from underneath using both hands.
The image shows the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- installed.
Pay attention to the different wire lengths to the connectors!
-- Remove the switch. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - CONTROLS IN CENTER CONSOLE .
