Sub-Assembly Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing
Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connectors:
1 - For the Oil Pressure Switch -F22- -2-
3 - For the Reduced Oil Pressure Switch -F378- -4-
5 - For the Piston Cooling Nozzle Control Valve -N522- -7-
-- Remove the oil filter element. Refer to ENGINE OIL .
-- Free up the clip -2- for the wiring harness.
-- Remove the bolt -1-.
-- If necessary, unclip the guide tube from the upper timing chain cover in the direction of -arrow-.
-- Place a cloth under the sub-assembly bracket to catch any escaping engine oil.
-- Free up the wiring harness.
-- Remove the bolts -1 through 5- and pull off the sub-assembly bracket from the coolant pump housing.
