Front Three-Point Seat Belt, Removing And Installing, TT Coupe: Removing

WARNING:

Follow all regulations when disposing of pyrotechnic components. Refer to AIRBAG, BELT TENSIONER AND BATTERY CUT-OUT UNITS, STORING, TRANSPORTING AND DISPOSING (PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS) .

-- Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition turned on. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the front belt end fitting. Refer to FRONT BELT END FITTING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the side trim panel. Refer to SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the seat belt guide -2- using the : 3409 .

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Remove the seat belt guide -1- and the seat belt webbing -4-.

WARNING:

Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker pin, for example.

-- Release the connector lock -3- with a small screwdriver, and remove the connector -2- for the belt tensioner igniter 1.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the automatic belt retractor -4- from the mount.
