Passenger Occupant Detection System, Removing And Installing: Installing

- Pay attention to the safety precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, connecting a connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.
- Follow the instructions when installing the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
NOTE:
Make sure the connectors are installed all the way and engage audibly.
When installing a new service kit, apply the basic setting for the passenger occupant detection system control module. Refer to PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM DEACTIVATION ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, MARKET-SPECIFIC .
-- Select the "Airbag" function in "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester to complete.

NOTE:
If the Airbag Indicator Lamp -K75- indicates a fault after installing, check the DTC memory, erase it and check it again using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
