Tail Lamp, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
NOTE:
A damaged cover must be replaced.
-- Clean the adhesive surface on the body with Cleaning Solution: D 009 401 04 .
-- Check all of the adjusters -2- on the tail lamp. To do so, the adjusting nut -1- must be gently screwed on -arrows-.
-- Screw the adjusting nuts all the way downward, but do not tighten.
-- Bring the tail lamp into the installation position.
-- Align the tail lamp with the side panel and tighten the bolts.
- The tail lamp must be flush with the side panel.
NOTE:
Tightening the bolt automatically turns the adjusting nut on the adjuster towards the tail lamp mounting point and secures it.
