Side Bumper Cover Reinforcement, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -4-, if equipped.
-- Free up the wiring harness -1-.
-- Carefully remove the clips -5- from the strap with a screwdriver.
-- Remove the bolts -3-.
-- Remove the side reinforcement -2-.
-- The following components must also be removed if the reinforcement is being replaced:
- If equipped, the lane change assistance control module. Refer to LANE CHANGE ASSISTANCE CONTROL MODULE -J769- / -J770-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
