Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- North American market-specific: remove the driver side knee airbag. Refer to KNEE AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Reach upward behind the pedal bracket to disconnect the connector -1-.

-- To disconnect the connector, press the tab, turn the retaining bracket and remove the connector.

-- Release the retainers -arrows- and remove the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- - 3- downward from the bracket -2-.
