Fan Shroud, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- on the left and right.

-- Unclip and remove the lower section -1- of the air duct.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air duct hose.

WARNING:

There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.

  • Disconnect the connectors before working near the fan shroud.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the radiator fan, to do this push the clip in the direction of -arrow A- and push the retainer downward.

-- Push the left and right locking latches for the fan shroud at the same time in direction of -arrow B- and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator and remove from underneath.
