Coolant RECIRCULATION Pump -V50-, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE:

During installation, install all heat insulation sleeves at the same locations.

WARNING:

The cooling system is under pressure when the engine is warm. Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

Scalding the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

  • Wear safety gloves.
  • Wear protective eyewear.
  • Reduce the pressure by covering the coolant expansion tank cap with a cloth and carefully opening it.

-- Open the coolant reservoir cap -arrow-.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2- and remove the air duct hose from the charge air cooler.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2-.

-- Free up the coolant hose -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-.

-- Remove the right air duct pipe.

-- Remove the nut -1-.

-- Push the Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50- forward and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -3-, then clamp off the coolant hoses with the :3094  and remove them.
