Backrest Panel/Backrest Frame, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the rear seat backrest from the area of the backrest hinge. Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
Risk of damaging the spacer.
- Proceed very carefully when clipping and unclipping.
-- Remove the spacer -1-, to do this release the tabs in direction of -arrows- with a small screwdriver through the opening.
-- Repeat the process on the opposite side.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the locking mechanism -1- and release cable -2- from the backrest shell.
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 3-.
-- Pull the backrest panel -2- upward out of the backrest hinge -4- and remove.
