Seat Side Trim On Side Sill Side, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seat into its highest position.

-- Manual front seat: remove the backrest adjustment hand wheel. Refer to BACKREST ADJUSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Manual front seat: remove the seat height adjustment handle. Refer to SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the storage compartment. Refer to OWNER'S MANUAL, FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND STORAGE COMPARTMENT BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the expanding rivet -3- from the seat side trim on side sill side.

-- Release the hooks -1- using a screwdriver.

-- Remove the seat side trim -2- from the brackets in direction of -arrows-.

-- Disengage the rear seat side trim on side sill side from the backrest hinge and the seat pan.

-- Equipped on some models: disconnect the connectors by pressing the release.

3 -  Driver Seat Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch -E176- /Front Passenger Seat Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch -E177-

-- Remove the expanding rivet -3- and remove the bolts -1- to remove the brackets -2-.
