Seat Height Adjustment Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

CAUTION:

There is a risk of destroying the seat height adjustment handle if removed improperly.

  • Remove the seat height adjustment handle -1- as described, do not drive it off the lever -2-.
  • A seat height adjustment handle with a damaged tab -arrow- must be replaced.

-- Pull the seat height adjustment handle -1- slightly upward and hold in this position.

-- Remove the seat height adjustment handle as far as possible from the front seat.

-- Guide the : 3438  between the seat height adjustment handle and seat side trim -2-.

-- Release the tab -3- with the : 3438  and at the same time remove the seat height adjustment handle in the direction of the -arrow- from the lever.

-- Remove the seat side trim on side sill side. Refer to SEAT SIDE TRIM ON SIDE SILL SIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

The bolt -2- and the bolt -3- are different lengths.

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3-.

-- Remove the seat height adjustment lever -1-.
