Left/Right Vent Temperature Sensor -G150- / -G151-, Removing And Installing: Notes

NOTE:

A Left Vent Temperature Sensor -G150- (or Right Vent Temperature Sensor -G151-) -2- is only installed on vehicles with an automatic climate control system. If there is no Left Vent Temperature Sensor -G150- (or Right Vent Temperature Sensor -G151-) installed, the opening in the air duct is sealed off with a plug -4-.

There is no vent temperature sensor installed on vehicles with a manual climate control system. The opening in the respective air duct is sealed off with a plug -4-.

The designation and the component location of the vent temperature sensors (Left Vent Temperature Sensor -G150- and Right Vent Temperature Sensor -G151-) is different. The Left Vent Temperature Sensor -G150- is installed in the air duct to the left instrument panel vent on left-hand drive vehicles. The Right Vent Temperature Sensor -G151- is installed in the air duct to the right instrument panel vent on right-hand drive vehicles (not illustrated).
