Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front passenger side footwell vent -3-. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Detach the quick release (screw or clip) -1- using a screwdriver (or pliers).

NOTE:

There are different ways of securing the cover -2- (screw or clip -1-). Replace the clip version, if necessary. Refer to the Parts Information.

Pry the clip version out, for example, with pliers or a screwdriver.

-- Remove the cover -2-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 3-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

WARNING:

Risk of burns.

If the Fresh Air Blower -V2- with the Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126- was in operation before the removal, it may be hot.
Do not touch the hot cooling surface of the Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126-.

-- Remove the control module -2- from the fresh air blower.
