Climatronic Control Module -J255-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- If the Climatronic Control Module -J255- -B- should be replaced, select the "Replace control module" function in Guided Fault Finding before removing. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding " function.

-- Turn off the ignition.

-- Versions with ignition lock: Remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 3-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -4- by sliding the retainer -5- upward -arrow- and pressing the release -6- inward.

-- Remove the screws -A- (tightening specification: 4 Nm).
