Right Flange Shaft, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With AWD: Removing

• The transmission is installed.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the right drive axle heat shield.

-- Remove the right drive axle. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the : SMN372500  underneath.

-- Remove the right flange shaft bolt using the : T10107A  by installing two bolts in the flange and counterholding the flange shaft with an assembly lever.

-- Fasten the : T10037  to the right flange shaft as shown.

-- Align the : T10037  with the : T10037/1  and the spindle -A- so that it is parallel to the flange.

-- Remove the flange shaft.
