Clip On Vehicle Connector, Replacing

Some vehicle connectors for the Mechatronic are equipped with a clip which holds the connector in the end position after locking. When loosing the connector the bracket from the clip can break. If the bracket from the clip is broken, the clip must be replaced.
-- If equipped, remove the splash guard -1- from the connector -2- -arrows-.
- There is not splash guard when a clip is installed.
-- Pry out the clip -1- from the connector -2- using a screwdriver -3-.
-- Install the new clip -1- as shown, on the connector -2- and engage in direction of -arrow-.
- When correctly installed the clip contacts the connector and can no longer be moved back and forth.
-- Place the vehicle connector -1- with the clip -2- on the mechatronic and lock by turning. At the same time the hook of the clip must engage behind the hook of the connector in direction of -arrow-.
