Engine, Securing To Engine And Transmission Holder

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Engine Sling:2024A 
• Engine and Gearbox Bracket VAS6095A:VAS6095A 
• Shop Crane:VAS6100 
• Engine Bracket:T40371 

Procedure

• Transmission separated from the engine.

-- Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Engage the :2024A  onto the engine and onto the :VAS6100  .

• To be aligned to the center of gravity of the assembly, the rails with holes of the lifting hooks must be inserted as shown.

-- Lower the engine from the :T03000  with the :VAS6100  .

-- Tighten the :T40371  on the cylinder block.

-- Fasten the engine to the :VAS6095A  using the :T40371  .
