Fan Shroud, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air guide.

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the coolant pipes -1- from the fan shroud.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and push the coolant hose toward the rear.

-- Pry up the clamp -1- and remove the left upper coolant hose from the radiator and push to the side.

WARNING:

There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.

  • Disconnect the connectors before working near the fan shroud.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the radiator fan, to do this push the clip in the direction of -arrow A- and push the retainer downward.

-- Push the left and right locking latches for the fan shroud at the same time in direction of -arrow B- and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator and remove it upward.
