Coolant Distribution Housing, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front coolant pipes. Refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the coolant thermostat. Refer to COOLANT THERMOSTAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the MPI system fuel rail. Refer to FUEL RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MPI SYSTEM .

-- Remove the oil dipstick -2-.

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and disconnect the oil dipstick guide tube -1- from the cylinder block.

-- Seal the opening in the cylinder block with a suitable plug from the :VAS6122  .

-- Loosen the hose clamps -1- and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the coolant distribution housing -3- from the cylinder block towards the left.
