Lower Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the flywheel. Refer to FLYWHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the : 10-222A/11  at the front left of the Extractor are remove the : T40299  .

-- Remove the upper timing chain cover. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the brake booster vacuum pump. Refer to VACUUM PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Engine Speed Sensor -G28-. Refer to Engine Speed Sensor -G28-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector for the Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor -G265-.

-- First remove the bolts -arrows- and then bolts -1 through 6-.

-- Carefully loosen the lower timing chain cover -1- from the bonding; place the screwdriver -A- on the designated points at the top and bottom to do this:

2 -  Cylinder Block

3 -  Oil Pan Upper Section

-- Start to loosen in the respective alignment sleeve area -arrows-.

-- Press the transmission side of the crankshaft seal out of the lower timing chain cover.
