Starter, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 2.0L TFSI Engine And Dual Clutch Transmission: Removing
-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the cap -7-.
-- Remove the nut -8- and remove the terminal 30/B+ wire.
-- Disconnect the connector -6- by sliding the retainer back and pressing the release down.
-- Remove the lower nut -2- and remove the ground wire -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -3 and 4- and remove the starter -5- upward.
