Overview - Brake Pedal

WARNING:

Risk of accident!

  • The path of the brake pedal must not be shortened by extra floor mats.

  1. Brake Pedal
  2. Bearing Shell
    • Installed between the brake booster and the brake pedal
  3. Mount
    • For the brake booster ball head
  4. Bearing Bushing
    • Cannot be replaced
    • Note the installation position
  5. Bushing
    • Oval
  6. Clip
    • Replace after removing
    • For mounting pin
  7. Bushing
    • Oval
  8. Nuts
    • Tightening specification. Refer to Fig 2
    • Replace after removing
    • Self-locking
  9. Bushings
    • Round
  10. Pedal Assembly/Mounting Bracket
  11. Mounting Pin
    • Remove the mounting bracket to remove.
    • Cannot be removed without destroying it
      CAUTION:

      Do not lubricate or grease the mounting pin. The mounting pin must remain dry.

  12. Pedal Rubber

-- Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm in the sequence -1 through 4-.
